    Job Summary

    Are you a Recovery Practitioner with a keen interest in physical health activities?

    The Role

    You will support the BRIC Coordinator in developing and delivering a range of physical activities that bring holistic development to our service users both internally and externally. This includes GLOVES, (Via's unique programme which incorporates recovery and boxing coaching).

    Also ensuring the successful delivery of our Recovery in Action programmes including the motivational course (NOVA), Peer Mentor training (OCN Level 2 Award in Peer Mentoring) and employability training (Next Steps including OCN Level 2 Award in Employability).

    We are seeking a committed, organised and highly motivated candidate, with an in-depth knowledge and experience of the challenges affecting people with substance misuse and related health and wellbeing issues in the London Borough of Greenwich.

    The Service

    Launched in 2020, Via Greenwich is a fully integrated substance misuse service, providing clinical and psychosocial interventions, operating from a main treatment hub in Woolwich. The team actively promotes recovery and works with individuals that are directly and indirectly affected by substance misuse, working with the local community to improve the health, wellbeing and functioning of Greenwich residents, irrespective of circumstance.

    Location

    The role is based at the Via Greenwich, but at times may involve travel to external meetings and satellites within the borough, and to other Via locations as needed.
