Fund Operation Change Manager


An exciting new role to join our Fund Operations team as a Change Manager, based in the London office of a large pensions investment manager on a permanent basis.


The role


The Fund Operations Change Manager is responsible for managing and implementing the product & proposition and investment changes for the Fund, working in partnership with the Fiduciary, Investment and the broader operational teams.


The person


We are looking for someone who has a successful track record of delivering projects and enhancements using their existing knowledge of a broad range of underlying asset classes including equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity and cash.


To be successful in this role you will be adaptable and have the ability to make sound decisions in ambiguous situations, whilst planning for both the short and long term.

You will be collaborative in your approach when actively seeking the views of theorganisation to allow you to unite diverse individuals and opinions and reach mutually agreed positions.

Being an effective and influential communicator is key to this role to allow you to drive innovative solutions and influence the business.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Strong knowledge of DB& DC pension occupational pension schemes
  • Strong knowledge of UK, EMEA and Global pension structures
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills
  • Proven problemsolving abilities
  • Ability to work at both a strategic and detailed level
  • Good communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and focus on quality
  • A proven track record on delivering successful projects and enhancements
  • Educated to degree level and / or over 10 years experienced of change
  • Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the investment management business from 'front to back'
  • Experience of working in an agile environment
  • Excellent knowledge of a broad range of underlying asset classes to include: equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity and cash
