    Manager Operations Director Grade BSalary £24,000-£26,000Direct Reports NoneDESCRIPTION OF JOB This role is the first point of contact for any external person interacting with Motorsport UK either on the telephone, in person or in writing.

    As a membership organisation we aim to provide a first-class level of response to all enquiries.

    In addition, the role offers the opportunity to support the Operations team and, in some cases, other departments to gain a full understanding of the organisation and provide critical administrative support.

    DESCRIPTION OF JOB CONTENTMain Role Responsibilities Point of contact - Front Desk - Meeting, greeting and dealing with people's enquiriesa visitors' register.

    Deal with general telephone enquiriesRedirect questions of a technical nature to responsible Departmental staff.

    Hospitality activities in the front of house area ensuring these are coordinated for important meetings and that all front of house facilities maintain a high presentation standard.

    Taxis for internal and external people and keep a record of what has been ordered.

    Meeting rooms bookingGeneral enquiry mailboxes and direct to relevant people as appropriate ensuring these are logged and closed outAll of the building are generally kept neat and orderly.

    Any faults or safety hazards.

    Distribute the daily postal delivery to appropriate departmentsPostal duties including arranging couriersDispatch of goods, mailshot or back office fulfillmentAdmin support including coordinating supplier visits and maintaining all recordsAd-hoc administration duties that may be required as directed by the Operations Director to support other teams within the organisationEnsure members receive a friendly and efficient service when making enquiries of the organisation by phone, in writing or when visiting our building.

    Support the Operations department in the delivery of a professionally run building ensuring facilities are available at all times for employees and visitors to the highest possible standardsPerson Specification Punctuality, time-keeping and attendance.

    Ability to interact with all levels in the organisation confidentlyWritten and communication skillsKnowledge of core Microsoft productsInformation given is to be accurate.

    Personal and telephone enquiries are to be dealt with expeditiously (immediate).All times all enquiries are to be treated in an accommodating, polite and friendly manner.

    All times Reception area is to be kept in a tidy and presentable manner.
    Smart dress code at all times.
    Ability to listen and deal patiently and tactfully with people making enquiries.

    As a team of two, Two roles are available performing the same duties but covering a rota shift pattern to maintain cover, extending before and after normal hours of business.

    The ambition is to maintain cover from 8am to 5 6pm with some flexibility on sharing the duties and establishing the rota.
