Mechanical Pre-Construction Engineer
MEP Contracting / Building Services

A modern, forward-thinking and progressive M&E Contractor with a turnover of around £50m requires a Mechanical Pre-Construction Engineer to join its team, due to growth.

You will join the team where you'll be a vital member of the Pre-Construction division. In this role, you'll wield significant influence in shaping projects during their nascent stages.

They are on the lookout for individuals with firsthand on-site experience, ideally in roles such as Supervisor or Site Manager, who are eager to transition into an office setting and take their careers to the next level.

Collaborate with QS in preparing documentation for sub-contractor and supplier inquiries.

• Facilitate the distribution of supplier and subcontractor inquiries and organisereturned bids.
• Perform design audits/reviews and raise RFIs (Request for Information) as necessary, evaluating potential Value Engineering opportunities.
• Oversee CDP subcontractors throughout the pre-construction phase.
• Manage BIM (Building Information Modelling)/Working Drawing resources.
• Hybrid working
