An excellent opportunity to start a career, complete an apprenticeship and progress within a busy Solicitors. General duties include making and receiving telephone calls, preparing precise attendance notes, and filing, etc.

The Law Practice
Cited in Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession, as a "Band 1 Firm" specialising in Criminal Law principally in Thames Valley and London.
Solicitors are regularly instructed to represent clients nationally and are now firmly established as one of the foremost Criminal Law firms in the Country.
Your role within the Practice
The role will include but is not limited to:
- Communicating and updating clients on a day to day basis with their matters
- Updating the firm's court diary and adhoc diary management
- Meet and greet clients who attend our offices
- Accurate time recording entry onto our CMS
- Effective and efficient building of a digital file via the CMS
- Update and maintain archiving records as well as other general administrative duties
Desired skills
- 49 grades English and maths GCSE's
- Confident with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage reception in conjunction with other administration duties
- Good attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of ICT packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to demonstrate or gain a clear understanding of the firm's inhouse systems where training will be given
- Excellent presentation, organisation and timekeeping skills
- Awareness of confidentiality and safeguarding
- The ability to use own initiative, be able to work individually as well as part of a team
- Must be wellpresented with a clear, pleasant telephone manner
- Good organisational skills
- Good client care skills

Training to be provided
Course Content:

You will complete the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard.
- This Apprenticeship will involve off the job training.
- You will also develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours.
- You need to have an employer to support your Apprenticeship and be employed in a relevant job role.
- The typical length of this Apprenticeship course is 18 months.
