Investment Operations Analyst (Investment Management)

Meraki Talent's Investment Management client are shortlisting for a Market Access Analyst to join their growing team in Edinburgh on a permanent basis.

The team have responsibility for the completion and co-ordination of withholding tax documentation forfunds and communication to internal and external stakeholders on the on-going matrix of activities which underpin securing the most appropriate taxation rates in each market.


Responsibilities of the Market Access Analyst (Investment Management):

  • Complete tax documentation market process from initial identification request through to confirmation that beneficial rate has been applied
  • Diarise and facilitate renewal of any tax or market registration when due
  • Work with Global Custodians and Legal & Tax teams to identify and engage local tax agents
Facilitate payment of tax agent invoices in a timely manner

  • Setup and maintain an action log and tracker for all new markets, funds, entities and Custodians.
  • Coordination and provision, where applicable, of documentation to satisfy FATCA,CRS & other KYC requirements

Background of theMarket Access Analyst (Investment Management):

  • Experience in the Investment Operations sector
  • Working knowledge of TPA function, and ideally experience of working within a market facing function or in a business change /trade oversight team.
  • Excellent understanding of Global Custodian services
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Well developed stakeholder management and organisation skills
