    Description

    Head of Conveyancing – Wirral – Up to £60,000

    What's in it for you

    • Basic annual salary £45,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience)
    • Commissions
    • Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (flexibility available with start and end times)
    • Hybrid working available after probation – 2 days minimum required in the office

    What you'll be doing

    • Providing supervision, advice, and guidance on technical and professional matters
    • Championing best practices and case management standards, ensuring adherence to Lexcel and CQS criteria through regular file reviews and effective supervision
    • Cultivating and nurturing relationships to support strategic growth objectives
    • Collaborating with senior management to devise and execute business strategies aimed at expanding the Conveyancing department and revenue streams
    • Meeting individual and collective billing targets while upholding key performance indicators
    • Generating and presenting insightful reports on case holdings, turnover, billing, and client satisfaction
    • Delivering legal and best practice training to team members and maintaining a repository of template documents
    • Contributing to the firm's Lexcel and CQS accreditation through diligent adherence to quality standards
    • Conducting departmental reviews, performance appraisals, and identifying training needs for continuous improvement
    • Managing a small case holding

    What you'll have

    • A strong background in conveyancing
    • Ability to provide technical expertise, legal training and deal with complex matters
    • Must be either be a Licensed Conveyancer or Qualified Solicitor
