Commercial Procurement Manager

An exciting opportunity for a Commercial Procurement Manager to join a leading organisation within the railway industry, based in London with a salary up to £57,000.

The Commercial Procurement Manager provides procurement expertise and manages the provisionof a professional best practice commercial contracts service for the business.

This is a fantastic time to join the business as the company undergoes a period of significant change and growth.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Procurement Manager:

Developing effective procurement strategies that ensure procurement needs are met, whilst also ensuring efficiencies and value for money.
Checking that all procurement processes are compliant with relevant legal and policy obligations.
Ensuring that robust contract and supplier management arrangements are in place.
Providing support on all commercial activities including proposals, contractual queries and issues, etc.
Clearly identifying any emerging contractual risks on each project, resolving or escalating these as necessary.

Person Specification of theCommercial Procurement Manager:

Strong understanding of UK and EU procurement regulations.
Experience of effectively managing end to end procurements and commercial agreements.
Ability to communicate effectively and to influence others
Time and resource management with the ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities.

Salary:

Up to £57,000

This role will be ideal for you if you have previous experience within procurement and purchasing as a Procurement Manager, Senior Buyer, Category Manager, Commodity Manager, Commercial Manager, Contracts Manager, or similar.
