    Job DescriptionFabulous opportunity for a talented Contracts manager, company happy to employ on a permanent or Self employed basis (up to 500 a day)With the current boom within the construction industry, Davis Mills has been instructed to source a talented Contracts Manager by our client, a large main contractor with a thriving regional business concentrating on the London region.

    They have just secured 3 refurbishment / fit out schemes, valued at 6m, 9m and 11m respectively, all at preferred bidder stage.

    The roleThe Contracts Manager will have full responsibility for the 3 schemes taking them from preferred bidder stage to successful completion and handover.

    The Contracts Manager will be tasked with managing all works carried out to ensure projects are delivered safely on time and to budget.

    As part of the role the Contracts Manager will also ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards and that the client and all parties involved in the projects are kept fully informed of progress.

    Background of the Contracts ManagerThe Contracts Manager will have a background and be extremely competent in both pre and post construction to project completion.


    Other pre requisites are:


    Main contracting background within the London marketExperience on education schemesExperience of refurbishment and fit out projectsStrong management and communication skillsCommercially and technically competentStrong appreciation for health and safety, procedures and programme.

    Comfortable with managing meetings and dealing with the client and their representatives.

    On offer is a salary to 120,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
