Our client is a global company offering precise engineering and metal treatment solutions. They are seeking a SIOP Controller to ensure sales forecasts align with production plans due to a rising order volume.

Position: SIOP Controller

• Permanent, Full-time
• Dependent on experience
• Working Hours: Mon - Thurs 8 am to 16:45, Fri 8 am to 12:00 pm, totaling 37 hours per week

Job Description:

• Sales Forecasting: Assist sales team in data analysis for accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
• Inventory Management: Supervise inventory control strategies for optimal stock levels of raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods.
• Operational Planning: Coordinate with operations teams to match sales forecasts with production plans and source materials efficiently.
• Risk Management: Identify and address potential supply chain risks, monitor external factors impacting sales and operations.
• Continuous Improvement: Introduce process enhancements for increased efficiency and stay informed about industry best practices.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience in aerospace settings is advantageous.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Proven track record in sales and operations planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Effective problem-solving capabilities and familiarity with MRP systems.
• Knowledge of raw materials to meet customer requirements.
