- Provide advice and recommendations to employees on matters of EHS to ensure compliance with UK EHS legislation and Corporate Requirements.
- Participate in the the creation, development and maintenance of EHS documentation such as SOPs and Risk assessments.
- Ensure all incidents, near misses and accidents are recorded, investigated and filed
- Undertake EHS inspections in agreed locations.
- Support priority projects as assigned
- Assists in the development and maintenance of Pirbright site incident response and crisis management processes
- Conduct periodic validation of fumigation locks at the Pirbright site
- Participate in Global EHS audits and Regulatory (HSE or Environment Agency) visits
- Support the follow up and close out of identified actions from investigations, risk assessments, inspections and audits.

You will support and contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), Biosafety and Bio-security strategies, procedures and initiatives across the ROPU to deliver proactive EHS, Biosafety and Bio-security behaviours and enable employees to work in a compliant way, within an environment that demands strict regulatory and corporate requirements and awareness.
