    I have a unique opportunity to join a small, but rapidly expanding hedge fund, operating from the US, they are now expanding aggressively in 2024 and need to build out the London Support Function.

    Do you have buy side or experience working in smaller funds, and experience building out the support function?

    They are looking for someone who is a self starter, strong with SQL, Windows or Linux and Scripting to automate and overall monitoring.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide top-tier application support
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to trading platforms, executing trades, and managing portfolios.
    • Collaborate closely with Front Middle and Back office.
    • Develop and maintain scripts in Bash, PowerShell, or Python to automate tasks and streamline support processes.
    • Work independently as an individual contributor while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
    • Act as a liaison between Front Office users and IT development teams to communicate issues and drive resolutions.
    • Contribute to the enhancement and optimization of trading and portfolio management applications.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in application support within a Front Office environment, preferably in the finance industry.
    • Strong proficiency in Windows environments and scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
    • Familiarity with trading systems and Portfolio Management Systems is essential.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with traders and stakeholders.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
