Are you a newly qualified or experienced Health Visitor?

Then we need you


We are WorkwithYork and are working with our local authority client to find Health Visitors for work in the York area within the health child team, with an immediate start.


The role will involve working within the community and to be responsible for delivering a holistic service around the universal offer.

The rate of pay is between £16.53 to £18.86 per hour. Part-time, full-time and ad hoc work is available on a temporary basis.

You can expect:

  • Being able to write reports and deliver them where needed

You will need:

  • To be a Registered nurse or midwife with health visitor registration
  • Time management skills and the ability to support others as well as find practical solutions when needed
  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
  • The ability to follow policies and procedures, produce risk assessments and reports and provide handovers.
  • A flexible and compassionate approach, along with respect for an individual's need
  • The right to work in the United Kingdom
