    The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) protection function within the Governance and Experience team is committed to protecting intellectual property rights and maintaining a healthy and safe e-commerce environment on TikTok's E-commerce Platforms.

    Act as a subject matter expert for intellectual property and anti-counterfeit risk, focusing on intellectual property rights infringement and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency of the IPR program across the EMEA region.


    • Create and enhance content policies, processes, and frameworks to minimize IPR risk from a proactive governance approach.
    • Identify gaps, loopholes, and deficiencies in content policy, process, and metrics, and initiate projects to improve quality across the IPR program.
    • Work closely with our moderation and vendor teams to improve quality metrics.
    • Implement and enhance proactive monitoring programs, review quality metrics, and investigate reports to minimize counterfeit risk on the platform.
    • Educate internal and external stakeholders to ensure IPR protection is enforced across TikTok Shop.
    • Conduct training to educate crossfunctional teams about IPR policies and processes.
    • Collect data and conduct labeling and segmentation analysis to understand and minimize IPR risk on the platform.
    • Own and/or manage projects designed to improve operational and process efficiency. Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields.
    • Intellectual Property Operations, Risk Management, Trust and Safety, or Policy Development in Ecommerce or tech industry. Fluency in English is essential, and fluency in a second European language would be preferred, due to regular crossborder collaboration and EMEA scope.
    • Ability to build meaningful policies and successfully implement policies at a global level.
    • Excellent project and program management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
    • Demonstrated capacity for critical thinking and analysis with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to analyze and interpret data and metrics, find trends and implement solutions.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and effectively liaise with crossfunctional teams, and collaborate with different business units and technical stakeholders.
