Responsibilities:

Administer and supervise the distribution of exams to ensure a fair and secure testing environment
Monitor test takers to prevent cheating or any other form of misconduct
Provide instructions to test takers regarding exam procedures and rules
Answer questions and provide assistance to test takers as needed
Maintain accurate records of test takers and their exam results
Ensure that testing materials are securely stored before and after exams
Report any irregularities or violations of testing protocols to the appropriate authorities

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in record keeping
Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
Familiarity with educational testing procedures and protocols is a plus

Please note that this position does not require any teaching or educational background.

The primary role of a proctor is to ensure the integrity of the testing process by monitoring test takers and enforcing testing rules.
