    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students in their learning journey. The position involves working closely with educators to create a positive and inclusive learning environment while providing individualised assistance to students who may require additional support.

    Responsibilities:

    • Classroom Support:
    • Assist teachers in preparing and organizing instructional materials.
    • Support classroom management and maintain a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
    • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students during class activities.
    • Student Assistance:
    • Work with students who may have special educational needs, ensuring they have access to a tailored learning experience.
    • Foster a supportive and encouraging environment for students to thrive academically and socially.
    • Resource Management:
    • Help maintain an organized and well-equipped learning space.
    • Assist in the creation and implementation of engaging learning resources.
    • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to address the diverse needs of students.
    • Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions about student progress and development.
    • Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.
    • Provide feedback to teachers regarding student performance and any concerns.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of a high school diploma; additional educational qualifications are a plus.
    • Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Patience, adaptability, and a passion for supporting student success.
    • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a diverse team.
