Machining Engineer

• CNC Belfast Salary £35,000 Vickerstock are working in partnership with a global manufacturing company for the recruitment of a Machining Engineer.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for ensuring maximum running efficiency for the machines.

Your new role Optimise machining processes to increase capacity and machine availability, improve OEE, and reduce cycle time and scrap rate.

Create and maintain tool management system, ensuring tooling availability for manufacturing process. Create and edit CNC programs. Optimise and edit robot programs to ensure repeatability in process and reduce cycle time. Direct response efforts in accordance with production problems. Develop machining cell layout for existing and new cells. Assist with the development and implementation of new product development. Assist with the machine and process training of operators and supervisors as required. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Practices. What you'll need 3rd level qualification in an engineering related subject. Experience in a similar CNC Machining role. Able to read and understand engineering drawings including hydraulic fixture drawings. Experience of fault finding.
