Building Caretaker - Peckham Rye, Greater London, United Kingdom - Catch 22

Description

Our client, a high profile property management organisation are currently on the search for a Building Caretaker to oversee a large residential site in Peckham.

The role will involve working across 5/7 days a week including weekends (2 in 4).

Main Responsibilities for the

Building Caretaker:

To undertake daily checks of premises (to include lighting, heating, fire extinguishers etc) against a set checklist, reporting the findings to the Residence Manager.

To ensure that the site is safe and secure by undertaking regular patrols of all internal & external buildings.

To undertake all cleaning duties of communal areas, external grounds, reception areas & offices on daily - to include sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming and ensure cleaning consumables are monitored and maintained.

To assist in several of maintenance/handyperson jobs.
Monitor the maintenance reporting systems.
To assist in the monitoring and managing of supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.

To assist the Residence Manager with key tasks during the summer turnaround period, ensuring that the building is ready for the new residents at key times of year.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Caretaker with basic maintenance skills. You will posses strong customer service skills and will be able to deal with issues with minimal fuss. Due to the nature of the role you must be able to demonstrate strong H&S knowledge.

In return our client is offering a salary of £28,000 per annum plus a competitive benefits package
