Our client who is an established, not for profit organisation is looking for a Finance Manager to work strategically as part of a team, but still be hands on with day to day finance tasks.

In this position you will assist in providing a comprehensive financialand administrative support to the trust, ensuring that financial recording and administrative procedures run smoothly.

This is a position which is perfect for an AAT qualified or qualified-by-experience accountant or finance manager who is looking for responsibility.

You will have responsibility for all day-to-day financial transactions across the trust, there will be plenty to keep you busy and interested.

The position will include:

Process, reconcile, and analyse all transactions including Bank, VAT, Intercompany Balances, Prepayments and Accruals accurately
Month end reconciliations
Manage payroll
Responsible for the full month end process ensuring all income and expenditure is accurately recorded including journals and balance sheet reconciliations
Undertake Gift Aid Administration
Support the Head of Finance in preparing for annual audits
Be AAT qualified or qualified by experience
Flexible, commercially aware ideally with experience in the charity or not for profit sector.
Have a keen eye for detail and work well in a team
Have a strong desire to keep up to date with training and CPD in the finance sector
Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll experience is beneficial
