    Description

    Based at North Manchester General Hospital you will work as part of a team escorting older and vulnerable people home from hospital. If you enjoy helping people and like driving this could be the job for you. The service runs Monday to Friday 11.30am-8pm and you will work to a shift pattern of 3 weeks on and one week on standby. The job involves helping people to get to the car, get in and out and get settled comfortably in their home.

    A reasonable level of physical fitness is required as is patience and empathy and good communication skills.

    The post holder must have a full clean driving licence.

    Hours: The working hours are an average of 30 per week, Monday to Friday starting at 11.30am to 8pm and is based on a 4-week rota consisting of 3 weeks at 40 hours per week and 1 week on standby which are paid at £20 per day.
