    Environmental Monitoring Technician, SOCOTEC, £23,000 to £28,000, Cirencester

    To support our ambitious growth plans, we have a great opportunity to join our Environment and Safety Division. SOCOTEC provides a comprehensive range of environmental monitoring and consultancy services to help companies fulfil their legal obligations and to comply with environmental regulations. Our expert field teams provide national coverage and tailored services including site investigation, sampling and analysis, monitoring, interpretation and consultancy. Our qualified and highly talented field consultants provide environmental analysis, environmental monitoring and consultancy services to assist clients in complying with legislation.

    We're looking for a technician to join our Environmental Monitoring team in Cirencester to undertake sampling and monitoring activities across London, the south west of England and south Wales.

    • Trade Effluent Sampling
    • Microbiological Water Sampling
    • Legionella Compliance Monitoring
    • Environmental Compliance Sampling
    • Producing Interpretive Reports

    • GCSE or equivalent qualifications in English, Maths and Science
    • Adept communication skills to be able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
    • The ability to work under pressure to meet externally fixed targets
    • The ability to solve problems, using iniative and being accountable
    • The ability to be able to work on a range of projects and have knowlegde of multiple procedures and techniques

    Successful candidates must have a full UK driving licence.
