GREENFIELD PROJECT

TEKsystems are glad to be supporting one of their largest financial services clients with resourcing need on their cloud migration journey.

They require a Senior Data Engineer with experience in Azure & Databricks as their target state is to move all data possible into Azure and Databricks, whereas currently the data is sitting on prem within data warehouses across the business.

They need aData Engineer who stems from an ETL/Data warehouse engineering background who in the last 3-5 years has moved into cloud engineering (Azure/Databricks).

The chosen consultant will need to be able to use data bricks and ETL in SQL/python within databricks environmentand build data pipelines for curated data sets.

They also require 2 mid-level engineers to work along side the senior, coming from a very heavy ETL/Data Warehouse background being strong in SQL and Python (ideally Microsoft like SSIS/SQL Server) but having some exposure to Azure and Databricks (eg workedon 1 projects with it, or have certifications) These individuals need to be people who really want to upskill and get more hands on with these technologies but can pick it up/run with it very quickly.

They will also need to be used to writing scripts to buildpipelines into data warehouses and data lakes.
