Location:
Alfreton, Derbyshire

Salary:
£35,000 DOE

Hours:
Monday to Thursday 08.00 to 16.45hrs, with 30 minute unpaid lunch.
Friday 08.00 to 15.45hrs, with 30 minute unpaid lunch.


Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Service Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining, inspecting, and testing winching and ancillary equipment.
  • Potential requirement to participating in the breakdown service for maintenance/repair of winching equipment outside office hours.
  • Attending breakdowns and client sites to undertake external service and maintenance
  • Maintenance, testing and certification of winching and ancillary equipment.
  • Potential requirement to participating in the breakdown service for maintenance/repair of winching equipment outside office hours.
  • Ensuring correct administrative completion.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Knowledge or understanding of hydraulics is desirable.
  • Completed training or qualification in mechanics, engineering, electromechanical disciplines or comparable level obtained through experience.
  • Basic safety awareness and understanding
  • 3 years mechanical engineering experience

Desirable:


  • Able to travel throughout the UK as required
  • Undertake training courses relevant to your role
  • Able to work outside normal working hours (weekends/evenings)

Alfreton, Derbyshire
**Salary: £35,000 DOE
