Description
Our client is a logistics company based in the North West.

Due to continued demand for their services, they are looking for a vehicle experienced office Supervisor to lead their maintenance administration team in Cheshire.


FLEET MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

WINSFORD AREA

FULL TIME PERMANENT

UP TO £35K DOE

THE ROLE

  • Supervision of service desk personnel, ensuring department runs efficiently at all times
  • Ensuring that all fleet requirements including scheduled maintenance, defects and breakdowns are actioned within agreed timescales
  • Working closely with the fleet engineer and liaising with external workshops and thirdparty service providers
  • Ensuring all jobs are booked onto the system and updated accordingly
  • Review of all departmental systems and processes, advising on improvements where necessary
  • Monitoring of staff performance, providing support accordingly

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous experience within a vehicle maintenance department is required
  • Proven strong leadership abilities and an excellent communicator
  • An eye for detail and a structured approach to all tasks
  • A good level of IT literacy
  • Highly organised and able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Transport Manager CPC qualification preferred but not essential.
  • An uncompromising approach to regulatory compliance.
