    Secondary Teacher Daily Supply
    Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
    Salary Scale: £110 - £170 per day

    About the Role:
    GSL Education are actively seeking a Secondary Daily supply for immediate placement at Client Secondary Schools in Newcastle upon Tyne . We are looking an individual dedicated who will guide the students through their lesson with enthusiasm and expertise in the absence of a regular teacher.

    Secondary Daily supply Role:
    • Lead classes in teachers' absence, ensuring students participate in pre-planned activities.
    • Nurture a positive and safe learning environment through effective behavior management.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to organize work and ensure access to necessary resources.
    • Offer constructive feedback to teachers regarding attendance, engagement, and task completion.

    The successful candidate will:
    • Secondary teaching experience.
    • For Teachers - A valid teaching qualification with a PGCE. Teachers having a QTS or NQT status are both welcome to apply.
    • Passionate about teaching and in command of techniques to keep students engrossed.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and classroom behaviour management, lesson-planning, patience and empathy.
