    As we continue to grow and expand, we're seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Human Resources Generalist to join our team and help us nurture our most valuable asset – our people.


    Position Overview:
    At POP MART you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation's people functions.

    You will be joining our People Team in POP MART UK headquarter located in the Canary Wharf, reporting directly to the General Manager.

    You will be responsible for various People activities, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll management, learning and development.

    This role requires you to have a proactive and hands-on approach, as well as strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with employees at all levels.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Recruitment and onboardingCarry out strategy and planning activities and develop strategies to meet immediate and long-term staff requirements.
    Develop job descriptions, personal specifications and job adverts for opening positions.
    Manage the application process including shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, selecting candidates and managing candidates' communications.

    Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organisation - including conducting right-to-work check, and delivering induction programme.


    Employee relations:
    Address employee grievances and conduct investigations as necessary, maintaining confidentiality and fairness throughout.
    Interpret and advise on employment law. Negotiate with staff and their representatives on issues related to pay and work conditions, contracts and redundancy.


    Payroll and benefits:

    • Processes monthly payroll
    • Act as point of contact for all pay and benefits related enquires

    Policy and process development:


    Develop employee handbookDevelop and implement policies for topics around health and safety, working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management.

    Advise line managers on the implementation of policies and procedures for respective teams.
    Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and policies.

    • Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation

    Performance management and talent development:
    Collaborate with the People team on various projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, development, and retention.
    Analyse training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.

    To make a rewards strategy enables organisations to improve business performance and achieve desired resultsAdministration:
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
    Prepare HR-related documentation such as employment contracts, letters, and reports.
    Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding People-related inquiries, policies, and procedures.


    Qualifications and Skills:
    Minimum of 4 years of experience in human resources roles, demonstrating a solid foundation in HR practices and procedures.
    Proficiency in HRIS systems, including but not limited to Taleo, PeopleSoft, Workday, or Salesforce.

    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear and concise interaction with individuals at all levels within the organisation.

    Strong attention to detail coupled with outstanding organisational skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing HR-related tasks and documentation.
    Interpersonal adeptness, fostering positive and productive working relationships across diverse teams and hierarchies.
    Comprehensive understanding of employment law, with the ability to analyse, interpret, and communicate legal requirements effectively.
    Integrity and approachability, fostering an environment where employees feel comfortable discussing sensitive and confidential matters.
    Curiosity and willingness to challenge, demonstrating a proactive approach to addressing organisational issues and driving positive change when necessary.
    Collaborative mindset, working effectively within team environments and leveraging influencing and negotiation skills to implement personnel policies successfully.
