Financial Controller - United Kingdom

£600 per day (Inside IR35)

6 Month Duration

Oxford (Hybrid, at least 3 days required in the office)

I am partnering with a rapidly growing international business who are making a lasting, positive impact on people's well-being, through ground-breaking innovation.

They are looking for a 'hands-on' UK Financial Controller to be responsible for all of the controllership duties for the UK entity and to work closely with the Group Financial Controller.

Key responsibilities:

Responsible for the preparation of the UK accounts.
Responsible for the entire monthend process.
Prepare UK statutory accounts.
Responsible for UK tax compliance.
Review and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
Help the implementation of SOX.
Support the Group's external audit process.
A qualified Chartered Accountant, ACA, ACCA, ideally from the 'bigfour'.
Biotech/ pharmaceutical/ life science business experience.
Knowledge of UKGAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
Experience of SOX is needed.
SAP ByDesign is highly desirable.
