What does the role look like?
We're looking to recruit an engaging Despatch Team Leader to work for our Wolverhampton site. In this role you will be responsible for the daily shipment of Material to achieve our MPS schedule.

You will support Production Control teams, operate & enhance our SAP system & liaise to ensure collections are on time.

We will train & develop your career & support you in your continued development.

What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?

Hold responsibility for the daily shipment of material to achieve the MPS schedule in all areas of the business
Work with the production control team to achieve the daily shipping requirements
The ability to work on several different systems SAP to produce paperwork, courier & customer portals to arrange couriers and advice shipping notifications
Preparation of paperwork to the correct standard for internal teams and external customers
Produce paperwork right first time to allow flow of parts between final view and packing team
Checking concession data on CIMAGE
Recording Concession data onto Certificate of Conformities
Signatory responsibility for Certificate of conformities on Bought out finished product
Maintaining stamp responsibilities as per company requirements
Immediate reaction to requests and being first point of contact to resolve issues when raised
Proactively help in resolving outstanding actions and sourcing help when needed
Ensuring all dispatching is completed correctly
Ensure new starters are trained and skills matrices are updated accordingly arranging other members of the team to train where needed

What will you bring to the role?

Essential:

Able to engage with internal customer with a good level of detail
Previous logistics, Despatch or Shipping experience

Desirable:

Good understanding of SAP
Ability to engage & influence across crossfunctions
Previous experience in MPS scheduling
Keen eye for detail
Process orientated
