The Barbican is looking for a passionate and driven Cinema Administration Assistant to join their team.We are London's Creative Catalyst for arts, curiosity and enterprise.
Across our theatres, concert halls, cinemas, galleries, business venues and public and community spaces, we spark creative possibilities and transformation for artists, audiences, and communities – to inspire, connect and provoke debate.
Barbican Cinema's aim is to connect audiences with a curated programme of international films; from celebrated filmmakers to ground-breaking and underheard voices, from fiction, documentaries and animations to experimental and hybrid modes of cinema.
Our programme ranges from thematic seasons and ongoing series to new release films, Screen Talks, film festivals, family screenings, collaborations with our colleagues in different artistic disciplines and event cinema of performing arts such as theatre and music productions.
An exciting opportunity is available within the Cinema team, for passionate and driven Cinema Administration Assistant. There is a focus on administration and operations, including film distributors liaison and communication with internal and industry contacts.Are you a natural communicator and with good writing skills? Some office-based work experience is essential.
