Monday to Friday - 09.Our client located in Hertfordshire are not just your average Chartered Accountancy firm. Founded over 100 years ago, offering top-notch services in accountancy, audit, business advisory, tax, and VAT across various sectors.

They are expanding their Tax team with the addition of an Apprentice Tax Assistant to support to the Tax Manager and to enable future succession and growth plans.

This is a brand-new role focusing primarily on UK personal and company taxation and will come with full support for finishing ATT status, including full funding of qualifications, study time and guidance from their wonderful team.

Apprentice Tax Assistant
Preparing UK tax calculations and corporation tax returns, under the guidance of your supervisor
Providing administrative support to your Tax Manager and the wider Tax team
Learning how to understand, interpret and respond to statutory accounts
Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders (Group Businesses, Compliance and Audit teams, HMRC etc)
To become involved in extra tax considerations
Being the first point of contact on Tax queries from personal tax clients, businesses and working with your manager to respond to them in a professional manner
