    Description

    Title : ApplicationsDeveloper

    Location : HoustonTX

    Duration : 6 monthsContract to Hire

    Responsibilities:

    • Application Development: Design develop test and deploycustom solutions using tool such as PowerBI Spotfire TrueContext orother platforms best fit to meet business requirements. This mayinvolve creating forms workflows and integrations.
    • Customization and Configuration: Customize applicationsto align with client requirements. This could include configuringform fields adding conditional logic and implementing advancedfeatures.
    • Integration: Integrate applicationswith other systems and applications such as CRM software databasesand enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Ensure seamlessdata flow between different platforms.
    • Workflow Automation: Design and implement automatedworkflows using applications to streamline business processes andimprove efficiency. This may involve creating triggers actions andnotifications.
    • Data Management: Manage datacollected through custom applications including data validationstorage and retrieval. Ensure data security and compliance withrelevant regulations.
    • Troubleshooting andSupport: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistanceto endusers experiencing issues with custom applications.Investigate and resolve software bugs and performanceissues.
    • Documentation: Create and maintaindocumentation for custom applications including user guidestechnical specifications and training materials. Ensure thatdocumentation is comprehensive and uptodate.
    • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of customapplications to identify and resolve defects before deployment.Perform regression testing and ensure software quality throughoutthe development lifecycle.
    • Collaboration: Workclosely with stakeholders including business users project managersand other developers to gather requirements define project scopeand deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latestfeatures updates and best practices related to custom development.Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovationwithin the development team.
    • Training andKnowledge Sharing: Provide training and knowledge transfer tointernal teams or endusers on how to use custom applicationseffectively. Share expertise and best practices with colleagues tofoster continuous learning and improvement.
    • Adherence to Best Practices: Follow coding standards bestpractices and security guidelines when developing customapplications. Ensure that solutions are scalable maintainable andwelldocumented.

    Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in mobile form development using PowerBISpotfire TrueContext or other platforms.
    • Experience in customizing and configuring forms workflowsand data integrations.
    • Knowledge ofprogramming languages such as JavaScript HTML CSS for advancedcustomization and scripting within custom applications.
    • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services for dataintegration and communication with external systems.
    • Ability to work with databases and data managementsystems for storing and retrieving form data.
    • Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) systemsand mobile application deployment processes.
    • Abachelors degree or equivalent education in computer scienceinformation technology or a related field is typically required.However relevant experience and certifications can sometimessubstitute for formal education.
