    Purpose of the position

    We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to be responsible for maintaining, servicing and repairing Hiab
    and third party equipment. In this role, you will be providing a good level of customer service through product knowledge and customer interaction.

    Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Complete all service, repair, warranty and inspection jobs allocated daily, to a high quality standard;
  • Build strong rapport and relationships with customers, through professional behaviour and customer focused mindset;
  • Respond to routine enquiries from customers about the technical aspects of the organisation's products and services;
  • Complete all job related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner to ensure correct invoicing to the customer;
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve standard technical problems that arise, ensure ongoing customer satisfaction;
  • Develop skills and knowledge of the organisation's products and service;
  • Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions and in compliance with the company's safety rules / procedures and with regulations and codes of practice;
  • Support the company's efforts to reduce accidents / incidents by reporting unsafe actions or conditions and participating in Safety Walks, Safety Audits and 5S events etc. as required.
  • What you'll need to succeed

    Ideally, you have proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships. You are a quality-oriented
    professional skilled in flexibility and adaptability.

    Education:

  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualifications.
  • Working experience:

  • Experienced multi-skilled Engineer;
  • Experience in mechanical, hydraulic or electrical operations.
  • Competence and skills:

  • Excellent customer-focused approach, with strong problem-solving abilities;
  • Self-starter, who is enthusiastic and driven;
  • English language skills;
  • Driving Licence holder.
