Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a
Concierge Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd, working at the Procurator Fiscal office in Edinburgh, EH1 area.

Hours
:
On average 47.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday, Week , Week Weekend work may be required but, not every weekend.


Pay rate
:
£9.90 per hour.


Training:
Onsite training will be given. (Fire Alarm panel, intruder alarm system and patrol route inside the building only).


Main Duties:

To carry out Access/Egress of all personnel in and out of the building.

To carry out Concierge / front of house duties and internal patrols.

To assist in any real time fire evacuation or emergency along with the Facilities manager.

You may well be asked to carry out a mail run or to take a delivery to a certain person within the building


He / She must maintain a high standard of uniform / dress at all times when on site so a suit is issued by Kingdom.


Person specification:

  • A valid SIA licence; or applied for.
  • A full five year checkable employment history;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.
  • Have a good level of judgement professionalism.
  • IT skills
  • Physically & medically fit
  • Be of smart appearance
  • Enthusiastic and willing to develop new skills
years' experience would be advantageous

  • Must have the ability to deal with the emergency services
Knowledge and Experience

  • An understanding of Health & Safety at work & the likely issues to occur in the building.
  • A mature & nonjudgmental attitude to working with a client group that may present challenging behaviour
