  • Here at pladis, we've recently formed a Global HR Operation team, responsible for delivering value add efficiencies to enhance the experience of our colleagues across our 6 regions and central teams.
  • We are looking to recruit a HR specialist focused on delivery, who will work to determine where and how things could be improved in the global HR policy, process, and systems space to drive efficiencies and create a positive and consistent colleague experience.
  • What will this role achieve
  • You will be responsible for maintaining our Global HR policy and governance framework, supporting the creation and delivery of Global HR processes, and implementing interventions to ensure we can smoothly move to new and better ways of working.
  • The role holder will work closely with the Global HR Policy and Governance Lead and multiple internal stakeholders including the broader Global HR Operations team, HR process owners and regional stakeholders, Legal team to enable a collaborative HR transformation journey.
  • This role will be based at Chiswick Park, within our Global HR function and reports to Global HR Policy and Governance Lead.
  • What will be your key deliverables?
  • Global Policy & Governance
  • Work closely with process or policy owners to draft and review policies and guidelines with clear messaging, standardised format and strong governance principles.
  • Maintain the directory of Global HR policies including review, and assessments steps to ensure they meet their purpose.
  • Provide guidance to policy owners to enable alignment to the Policy framework.
  • Support HR governance requirements including documenting, maintaining and reviewing governance processes.
  • Global Process
  • Develop and maintain a directory of all Global HR processes.
  • Map Global HR processes across all areas (e.g., Performance, Reward, Talent and Engagement surveys).
  • Ensure the HR calendar and all process steps are delivered.
  • Manage the review of Global HR processes to in areas which can be simplified, standardised or close gaps to improve the colleague experience.
  • HR Analytics & Reporting
  • Supporting the collection, presentation and provision of commentary for Global HR analytics and dashboards.
  • Run ad hoc and regular reports form Workday and our internal learning tools.
  • Support the HR Analytics and Reward Systems Lead.
  • Project Management
  • Project lead and / or project manage key workstreams that form part of the Global HR Operations roadmap, ensuring engagement of stakeholders and delivery of key milestones.
  • General
  • Research policy and processes against market practice considering innovative new ways to improve the employee experience.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with HR colleagues involved in managing process, policy, and systems.

  • Essential
  • Proven experience of supporting policy and process design.
  • Effective communication and presenting skills to relay detailed information in an uncomplicated way.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organised and logical in approach, with the ability to respond to fast changes.
  • Relationship oriented able to build respected, trusted, and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
- "Can do" and "Make it happen" approach to developing new ways of working and simplifying complexity.
