What you'll be doing
Deliver complex FP&A activities (forecasting, planning, reporting, P&L management, Outlooks and MTP)
Contribute to the budgeting and outlook processes, including consolidation and analysis of information.
Identifies, understands and challenges risks, assumptions, drivers and interdependencies of the budget and outlooks.
Consolidate and challenge the weekly flash and month end processes.
Translates large amounts of information in to 'simple' stories, being able to pick out key themes and trends.
Presentation of financial information to key stakeholders
Implements continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy of the planning process, including resolution of data issues.
Coaches' talent and shares knowledge across the wider team
Act as DOA to the Senior FP&A Manager
Skills
Accounting: Understands and consistently applies an intermediate understanding of accounting principles in relation to business processes.
Financial Analysis: Provides insightful recommendations to improve business performance.
Validates, challenges and presents key assumptions, model outcomes, conclusions, risks and opportunities.
Forecasting, Planning and Budgeting: Identifies, understands the risks, assumptions, drivers and interdependencies.
Adheres to the budget timeline.
Understands trends in the business, market and macroeconomic factors.
Management Reporting: Produces concise and timely information on financial and operating performance for management
Mandatory · Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) · Commercial stakeholder management experience · Commercial Finance experience · Ability to interpret financials into meaningful insight, to inform decision making and present · Budgeting/Forecasting experience · Demonstrates a high level of analytical capability · Experience in managing risk and opportunity
Preferred · Advanced Excel · Proficient in SAP
