Purchase Ledger Clerk:


  • Hybrid working
  • Nottingham
- £24,000- £25,000**Chase & Holland are delighted to be working with large IT based firm that are looking for an experienced purchase ledger to join their team. This company are keen to have someone who has experience of working with high invoice volumes with a good eye for detail to join their team. This role will come with a number of benefits such as a company pension scheme along with a number of employee wellness benefits and hybrid working once you are established in the company.

Purchase Ledger Clerk Responsibilities:


  • Raise purchase orders and coding for nonstock items
  • Producing supplier statement reconciliations
  • Producing and processing payment runs
  • Placing invoices from the ERP into the finance system
  • Month end procedures and ledger management including month end control checks
  • Ensuring invoices match those which are in the company accounts
  • Query resolution
  • Review and develop reporting and procedures to ensure best practice
  • Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
  • Data Entry
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers

What we're looking for

  • Accounts payable experience with a number of years of experience in an SME
  • Good IT skills, especially on Excel
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing demands
  • Self-Motivated & Confident in your approach to working with a purchase ledger
  • Strong communicator and team worker

Hours:


  • Fulltime, Monday to Friday
