The Logistics Co-ordinator role is based within our Mission Systems business area

The role
The difference our new Logistics Co-ordinator will make

As a Logistics Co-ordinator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.

Reporting to the Mission Systems Head of Logistics, the Mission Systems Logistics Co-ordinator will have responsibility for the administrative control of Business Unit freight and warehousing.

Day to day, you'll place orders with category managed vendors for the movement of freight.

Managing communication between 3PL providers and business users, maintain the integrity of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System data, reconcile invoices received by 3PLs against Company records of freight instructions and you will be adept at running stock reports and extracting information from Warehouse and transport management systems.

Essential experience

  • College or HNC/HND qualification.
  • Experience and working knowledge of Logistics, ideally within a technical sector (Construction, Oil and Gas, Renewables, Civil nuclear or Commercial Marine is preferred).
  • High quality communication ability, both written and orally.
  • Strong relationshipbuilding, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Obtain or have the ability to obtain SC clearance
