Job overview:
As a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist you will be responsible for supporting your Manager in ensuring that our service users' speech, language and communication needs are met through the delivery of high-quality person-centred care in community settings.
You will join a highly supportive team dedicated to continuous improvement in patient care and service delivery and the opportunity to contribute.
You will be provided with robust supervision and personal development opportunities.Main duties of the job:
Maintain high standard of clinical work when carrying out assessment/intervention for children with speech, language, communication needs in a range of community settings,
Manage own caseload independently once RCSLT competencies completed. Develop and provide knowledge and skills in evidence based practice, provide advice / training to other professionals and Carers.
Demonstrate knowledge of / adherence to professional, national and local clinical guidelines, policies, procedures and clinical governance.
Compliance with continuous professional development to maintain registration with RCSLT and HCPC, identify personal learning and development objectives through line management and performance review framework, access clinical and safeguarding supervision in compliance with local policy.

- Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapist
- HCPC
- Licence to Practice

- Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
- Relevant experience pre registration
