- Process driven and high level of attention to details
- Preventative maintenance, cleaning & documentation of several laboratory instruments
- Regularly checking chemicals and reagent expiry dates and arrange disposal of any out-of-date material
- Maintaining and coordinating laboratory consumable inventories (stock management)
- Laboratory housekeeping, supervising, and keeping communal areas clean and tidy, waste management and specialist equipment performance checks
- Providing glassware and plastics collection, washing and, autoclaving/ sterilisation services (steam, dry or filtration) for the scientists to use within the laboratories

The Opportunity:
Previous experience in a scientific or laboratory environment, and/or a scientific degree is not a requirement for this role We'll consider applicants from other industries as full training is provided.

This role will be a full-time permanent position based in brand-new facility at the customer site - The Discovery Centre, Bio-Medical Campus in Cambridge. Next to an attractive salary, we offer multiple benefits such as pension scheme, private medical and dental care, and additional day off for your birthday.
Working hours : Monday to Thursday, 8:30 - 17:00 and Friday, 8:30 – 16:00
The team
You'll work alongside other Laboratory Technicians, who are supporting laboratory operations. You will belong to our business department Lab and Product Services, which supports big pharmaceutical companies and laboratories all over the world, in Research and Development within the Life Sciences industry.
