This market leading manufacturer within the Motion Control Industry is searching for an experienced Test Engineer to be based from their facilities near Shropshire that offers its employees huge progression opportunities, an impressive all around package and the chance to work within a positive and forward thinking working environment.

They are a well known name within the Industrial Automation / Motion Control sector working globally with some of the largest OEMs providing solutions for wide variety of energy saving and industrial applications.
Due to retirement we are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join this our manufacturing engineering team providing state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and processes used in the production of microcontroller-based power electronics products.
The role offers exciting project-based work in software and hardware design for automated test and inspection machines, robotics, artificial intelligence, new product introduction and production process design.
The ideal candidate will have:
HNC or Degree in an engineering or technology discipline
Significant experience of technical aspects of electronics products
Experience in software programming and CAD packages, ideally:
NI Labview
Solidworks
Allen Bradley PLC's
Collaborating with our Innovation team during product development, you will define and implement the test strategy for functional and compliance requirements.
Test Equipment electrical and mechanical design and machine safety experienceAble to work alone or as part of a team.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
