    Are you looking for a medical dietetic Challenge


    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dietitian with an interest in respiratory medicine to join the dietetic team at Mid Cheshire Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, based at Leighton Hospital, as a full time Band 6 dietitian.

    The post holder will be a key member of the medical dietetic team, providing a specialist dietetic service to complex respiratory /medical patients.

    They will cover a dietetic outpatient clinic supporting a wide range of patients allowing us to see for timely nutritional intervention.


    The post holder will support the training, mentoring and development of junior dietetic staff and students, providing opportunities for developing leadership skills.

    The service places a strong emphasis on clinical and peer supervision and has a well-established program facilitating the training of dietetic students on clinical placements

    Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MCHFT) provides good quality, safe and effective healthcare to the people of Cheshire and beyond.

    The Trust, which manages Leighton Hospital in Crewe, Victoria Infirmary in Northwich, and Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre in Winsford, was established as an NHS Trust in April 1991 and became a Foundation Trust in April 2008.

    To deliver specialist dietetic services to adult patients, with responsibility primarily for the medical specialist areas across Mid Cheshire Hospitals Trust, as part of the Acute Adult Dietetic Team.

    This would include highly complex clinical conditions and diet therapy, across the medical/respiratory wards and outpatient clinics

    To be recognised as an expert source of knowledge in the field of medical/respiratory nutrition, contributing to development of clinical guidelines, resources and education packages
    post registration training in medical dietetic intervention
