We are working with a retail business in Central Wigan.

They have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join their team to cover Maternity leave for 10 months on a part time basis.

The role will involve working directly with the senior credit controller and finance manager. You will be responsible for maximising cash collections and building long lasting relationships with clients.

Roles and responsibilities

Cash collection by email/ telephone
Escalate outstanding debts to credit agency
Manage credit limits
Liaise with sales and warehouse team regarding customers going on/off stop
Post daily cash to system
Sending statements & copy invoices
Invoice resolution, invoices queries/ debit notes etc
Take internal and external telephone calls
Minimise overdue debt
Assist with the annual auditThe right candidate

Previous credit control experience - 12 months experience
Happy with 10 months FTC to gain further experience
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Happy to commute to the Wigan office The role

Paying 24-26k depending on experience
Secure on site car parking based in Central Wigan
Working within a small finance team for a business with £12 million turnover last year
Part time hours 20-30 hours per week
Full time hours potential for the right candidate
