Role: Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Type: Permanent

Location: Middleton

We are currently working with a leading pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing company based in Middleton. We currently hired over 20 personnel for this role and are continuing to support this company with their growth

Who are in need of a health and safety lead to come on board and be responsible for Legislative Compliance for all health and safety aspects and managing Integrated management systems ie. ISO14001.

Main Responsibilities

• Health & Safety lead for the Middleton site

• Prime interface for HSE/EA and other Regulatory Authorities

• Ensure compliance with Environmental operating permits granted by the Environment Agency and other site permits

• Lead in Process Safety assessment and analysis. HAZOP and LOPA knowledge preferable

• Overseeing annual Occupational Health monitoring programme
