*Female SEN Teaching Assistant required to work on a private one to one basis with our client at The Tulip Academy Spring View Campus, Spalding in the Peterborough area.

Our client has cerebral palsy, she is wheelchair dependent and she is non verbal.

She is a bright young lady who is developing her communication skills though use of the iPad grid pad and Eye Gaze living with her family in Holbeach.

Duties will also include personal care and peg feeding. Client specific training will be given. Additional training will be provided by school.

This is not a typical role to the usual TA position and you need to be flexible and adaptable to respond to different situations.

There is a private therapy team providing speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy and you will be supported and provided with training on our clients specific programmes.

We are looking for someone on a job-share basis who is able to fill 2-3 days per week during term time, 08:30am to 15:30pm, with an extra 30 minutes for reporting.

You will be responsible to the Case Manager working collaboratively with the parents.

Rate of pay:
£16.00 per hour, negotiable depending on experience.

Interviews will be held at the Tulip Academy with the Case Manager, Head Teacher and parents.
