The role holder will support the timely and effective evaluation, licensing and maintenance of electronic resources and e-journal packages and transformative (Open Access Read and Publish) deals to ensure these offer best value for money whilst meeting teaching and research needs.
Role 2 Learning Resources Librarian (Reading Lists) is full-time (Monday to Friday) and encompasses all aspects of the online reading lists that link students to the key resources for their lectures and assignments. Attention to detail and an ability to see the bigger picture are important skills in these roles, as well as problem-solving capabilities, time management and prioritisation skills.
There is some flexibility around daily start and finish times. The team is working in a hybrid fashion:
part of the week is spent on campus enabling project collaboration and training and part working from home.

We're responsible for students' academic and non-academic enquiries and support, information and academic skills teaching, and the University's virtual learning environment as well as information resources.
We're enthusiastic about helping our students fulfil their potential and about removing barriers to their and our success. The team is active in many external groups and always looking to innovate and improve the user experience.
Working here means you'll also have access to a wide range of benefits including our generous pension schemes, excellent holiday entitlements, flexible working, reduced study fees, subsidised fitness facilities and a lot more.
