    This is an exciting new role in the Faculty of Social Sciences, working closely with the Faculty leadership team to deliver the EDI agenda contained in the Faculty Vision and Strategy : Changing the world, for the good of all, in line with the University's wider EDI Strategy.

    You will support and work with colleagues in the Faculty to plan, prioritize and deliver a wide range of EDI initiatives. You will have responsibility for the operational direction and delivery of EDI work, and will provide support and guidance to colleagues in pursuit of embedding EDI across the Faculty.

    You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Faculty to mainstream and embed equality and inclusion. You will work with senior management, staff and student networks, staff and student unions, Faculty EDI Leads and Committees, and other working groups and key stakeholders to identify needs and develop guidance documents, policy and actions to promote greater inclusion for all staff and students. You will advise on ways to effectively share best practice and will seek opportunities to address areas of under-representation, or differences in experiences and outcomes.

    You will demonstrate a strong professional commitment to advancing EDI through previous experience of working in the field. You will have experience of teamwork that delivers results. Your communication and influencing skills will enable you to build high quality relationships across the Faculty and University.
