    We are collaborating with a distinguished global asset management firm in the search for a skilled individual to fill a PR Manager position in their London office on a maternity cover basis. This exciting opportunity involves playing a pivotal role in safeguarding and elevating the company's brand by working closely with senior leaders, regional PR agencies, and assigned business units.

    Responsibilities:

    • Execute strategic public relations activities for various geographical regions, encompassing liaising with the press, events related to PR, and media communications calls.
    • Oversee external PR agencies conducting press outreach on behalf of the company, ensuring alignment with firm-wide marketing campaigns.
    • Develop and present compelling story ideas, engaging with the financial press and other media contacts through various channels.
    • Foster and nurture relationships with the media, handling inquiries and serving as an additional spokesperson.
    • Implement business unit-specific PR strategies, ensuring coherence with overall corporate messaging.
    • Collaborate with investment professionals and senior management on media opportunities and PR strategies.
    • Proactively generate and draft content to support and fortify the brand, representing the company on key strategic initiatives.
    • Cultivate relationships with the sales team, ensuring alignment with their interests and activities.
    • Coordinate with the Director of Corporate Communications on major communication projects.
    • Ensure press materials are current, legally compliant, and aligned with the firm's branding initiatives.
    • Act as the on-site media relations representative, leading proactive media pitching and managing inbound inquiries.
    • Oversee administrative activities with regional PR agencies, including managing media databases and press lists.

    Requirements:

    • Strong experience in global corporate communications or agency environment mandatory
    • Previous experience within an investment management or financial services firm
    • Understanding of digital/social media concepts for communications purposes
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational skills.
    • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and presentation skills to senior leadership
