- Execute strategic public relations activities for various geographical regions, encompassing liaising with the press, events related to PR, and media communications calls.
- Oversee external PR agencies conducting press outreach on behalf of the company, ensuring alignment with firm-wide marketing campaigns.
- Develop and present compelling story ideas, engaging with the financial press and other media contacts through various channels.
- Foster and nurture relationships with the media, handling inquiries and serving as an additional spokesperson.
- Implement business unit-specific PR strategies, ensuring coherence with overall corporate messaging.
- Collaborate with investment professionals and senior management on media opportunities and PR strategies.
- Proactively generate and draft content to support and fortify the brand, representing the company on key strategic initiatives.
- Cultivate relationships with the sales team, ensuring alignment with their interests and activities.
- Coordinate with the Director of Corporate Communications on major communication projects.
- Ensure press materials are current, legally compliant, and aligned with the firm's branding initiatives.
- Act as the on-site media relations representative, leading proactive media pitching and managing inbound inquiries.
- Oversee administrative activities with regional PR agencies, including managing media databases and press lists.
- Strong experience in global corporate communications or agency environment mandatory
- Previous experience within an investment management or financial services firm
- Understanding of digital/social media concepts for communications purposes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational skills.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and presentation skills to senior leadership
