IT system administrator (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Management ofthe existing network and firewall landscape
• Involvement in architectural decisions regarding the networkinfrastructure (WAN & LAN)
• Work closelywith consultants to manage firewall policies and ensure a healthyand secure network firewall environment
• Manage internal cloud network components and architecture andcreate technical documentation and change logs for audit purposes
• Participation in the design of businessprocesses, analysis of requirements and development of a functionalsolution (blueprint) for the business process to be developed
• Ensure and maintain service quality bydefining and enforcing IT organizational standards based on theglobal IT strategy
• Contribute to thesuccessful execution of key global IT projects
• Ensure the latest security standards for networkservices and compliance with the latest IT policies

Requirements

• Completed training as an IT specialist, IT systemsspecialist, IT specialist or a comparable qualification (e.g. adegree in a similar field)
• Extensiveexperience in IT infrastructure and cloud environments with morethan 1000 users
• Sound knowledge in theadministration and implementation of firewall systems, preferablyFortiGate / Checkpoint
• In-depth experiencein IT security and user administration
• Goodknowledge of network solutions (including routing, switching,firewalls)
• Good knowledge of Cisco networkdevices, preferably Meraki / Catalyst
• ValidCCNA or CCNP equivalent certifications for Cisco, Checkpoint orother network vendors
• Strong presentationskills and very good intercultural competence
• Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
