JMC are working with a highly respected and market leading Maintenance Repair and Engineering business based in
Stansted who are looking to recruit a Stores Supervisor to join their stores department.

This is a Permanent Position based In
Stansted. This role is on a 4 on 4 off rota, 07:00-19:00.

The Role


The primary purpose of this role is to Support the Stores Manager to ensure that materials, tools and equipment are stored and managed in accordance with Part 145 requirements, guaranteeing their availability in a cost-efficient manner to support on-time delivery of aircraft being maintained.


Other duties include:


  • The day to day running of the stores, the organisation and control of labour
  • Ensure correct materials handling and storage conditions are maintained to regulation standards
  • Ensuring that interfaces between the Hangar, Technical Services, Purchasing, Finance and stores are maintained to a high level.
  • Deliver on time closure of audit findings and safety reports.
  • Good housekeeping within the stores environment and associated remote storage areas.
  • Ensure all dispatched items are routed through the appropriate carriers
  • Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant company and Health and Safety procedures.
  • The control and disposal of packaging and stores associated waste products.
  • Constantly seek improvement in all activities to maximise productivity and minimise cost.

Skills and experience required.

  • Have proven experience in stores and warehouse operations, a minimum of 5 years from which 2 years in an aviation environment is required.
  • Demonstrate good presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Show strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong PC user skills (Excel, Word).
  • Experienced in the usage of Wings ERP (or equivalent).
