    Senior DA Claims Specialist - London£80,000

    Key Responsibilities:

    Within the Delegated Authority Practice Claims Manager and other senior stakeholders to deliver corporate goals and promote company core values.

    Technical support and claims handling judgment to ensure outstanding customer service.

    Manage relationships with Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and Delegated Authority Practice (DAP), ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and claims handling standards.

    Oversee the effective triage for claims referred to the claims team.
    Ensure adherence to claims reserving philosophy and standards.

    Support sourcing, selection, and onboarding of new TPA service arrangements when necessary, with various stakeholders throughout the claim lifecycle, including TPAs, Coverholders, policyholders, brokers, co-insurers, actuaries, and underwriters.

    Conduct regular relationship meetings/calls with TPAs and DAP relationships.
    Annual delegated authority audit strategy and delivery. Measure compliance with best practices, service, and communication through system reporting and internal file audits.
    Collaborate with Claims Operations Teams to improve operational efficiencies and outsourcing of non-technical tasks.
    Ensure compliance with approved Panel list, including direction to external lawyers and adjusters.
    Work with underwriters and business development managers to promote good working practices and client relationships.
    Handle customer/TPA complaints efficiently in accordance with Conduct Policy.


    Qualifications and Skills:
    Experience in claims management or similar role within the insurance industry.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
    Work effectively with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.judgment and decision-making skills.
    Knowledge of insurance claims processes and regulations. Familiarity with delegated authority practices and third-party administration.
